CV

A little bit about myself.

At the moment I am a stay-home mom who is taking a break from her academic and teaching career. My baby boy, Alexander Tristan, was born on September 26, 2009, and since then I am fully devoted to him. I love to travel and explor different countries, learn about their cultures and languages.
Recenty, I worked as an Instructor and a Tutor at Texas Intensive English Program in Austin, Texas, and earlier as an Adjunct Instructor at the English Language Institute and was an Adjunct Lecturer at the English Department at the University of Houston-Downtown also in the USA, Texas. Prior to that, I worked as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Software and Media Technology at Aalborg University Esbjerg in Denmark. I graduated from Ivanovo State University, Department of English Philology in Russia with MA and PhD in English Linguistics. In 2002, I received a scholarship grant for young researchers from Danish Government and spent 5 months as a visiting PhD student at the University of Southern Denmark in Kolding, Denmark.

These are the courses that I taught in 2007 - 2009 in the US:
